This project is driven by SOLS Off Grid's desire to create sustainable, renewable cutting edge solar capturing technology.
Our SOLS Camping Light is a truly portable, small-scale solar energy capturing and storage system that can power light and small personal devices on the go.
Its innovative solar panels use GPS tracking technology and move in order to best utilise the angle of the sun, allowing our users to best capitalise on the abundance of renewable energy found in our environment, providing an efficient and managed source of power for outdoor activities such as trekking, mountaineering, camping and off-grid living.
The device is controlled via our SOLS Off Grid app, allowing users to check the best set up for the solar panel, change the colour of the light and monitor charge efficiency.
The base of the camping light has a wireless charging port that charges the LED lighting rod. This light can be removed and used as a lantern or torch. This then frees up the wireless charging port for your phone. Whilst the USB charging ports on the base can charge other small devices such as your speakers or smart watch.
Our camping light comes with a light weight bespoke bag for each component that can be easily packed into a rucksack so you can take it on the go when you’re ready to depart from your base.
